Description: This short course will emphasize the nature of science, examination of evidence, and natural selection. Teachers will be able to capitalize on students' interest in themselves: hominids. Join anthropologist Nina Jablonski and the SETI Institute to learn about bipedalism, bigger brains, and variation in pigmentation and UV intensity. Participants will receive a six-week curriculum module CD.
