We've all heard someone say, "There's no evidence for evolution. No one has ever seen a worm evolve into an elephant!" Statements like this illustrate a major misconception about how evolution works. In fact, worms didn't evolve into elephants — and neither did mice. What did happen is adaptive radiation of invertebrates, adaptive radiation of mammals, and the subsequent evolution of worms, mice, and elephants. Come hear about the evidence for evolution!
